PIES finding a new balance in our relationship with nature by commemorating World Ocean Day on June 8, 2022.
This year’s Ocean Day theme was “Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean.” The Department of Science and Islamic Studies organized an education session based on the UN SDGs curriculum link as the event’s centerpiece. Young environmentalists were educated about the dangers of plastic in the ocean using an infographic.
The department of science and Islamic studies demonstrated some actions to achieve UN SDGs 5 (gender equality) and 15 (life on land) through the active participation of students from primary and secondary sections.
