As the American Community School of Abu Dhabi approached the 100th day of learning, we celebrated this meaningful milestone through our 100 Days of School, Friendship and Kindness food drive. Each elementary school class worked toward a shared goal of collecting 100 cans of food to support members of our wider community in need.
The response from our ACS community was truly inspiring. Students, families, and teachers came together with compassion and generosity, contributing an abundance of food donations. These collective acts of kindness reflect the spirit of empathy and service that Roots & Shoots encourages in young changemakers.
We were able to collect a total of 55 boxes of food to the local Red Crescent for families in need. When we share compassion with one another, we help create a warmer and more connected world.
