On 12 June 2026, Roots & Shoots UAE was honoured to attend a sea turtle release event hosted by the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project. The event marked the return of several rescued and rehabilitated sea turtles to the ocean after receiving the care they needed to recover.
Members of the Roots & Shoots UAE team attended the event alongside Executive Director Tara Golshan, joining conservationists, environmental partners, and community members to witness this inspiring conservation milestone.
