Sunrise English Private School Observes “Pinktober”
Sunrise English Private School observed Breast Cancer Awareness Month throughout October with a campaign called Pinktober, aimed at promoting awareness, early detection, and support for those affected by breast cancer.
The campaign was inaugurated by Principal Mr. Thakur Mulchandhani, who encouraged students and staff to take an active part in spreading the message.
The Cabinet Members conducted the assembly, with students presenting the theme of the campaign to their schoolmates.
Vice Principal Mr. Thomas Francis delivered an awareness speech on the importance of regular screening, early diagnosis, and community support in the fight against breast cancer.
Teachers joined the campaign by adding their thumbprints to a pink display, symbolizing unity and solidarity with survivors and those currently fighting the disease.
The month-long initiative reflected the school’s commitment to health awareness and social responsibility, and encouraged the whole school community to stand together for a meaningful cause.
