WATER WARRIOR ACTIVITY BY PRE PRIMARY STUDENTS OF ABU DHABI INDIAN SCHOOL, MUROOR

The Water Warrior Award was designed to encourage and acknowledge individuals who demonstrated a strong commitment to water conservation at home. By motivating students and teachers to take an active role in reducing water usage, the initiative has fostered a culture of responsibility and environmental stewardship within the school.

The Water Warrior Award initiative has not only helped reduce water consumption within the school and has instilled a deep sense of environmental responsibility among students and teachers. By recognizing and appreciating individual efforts, the program has successfully encouraged a sustainable mindset. The school remains dedicated to promoting such initiatives to ensure a greener and more sustainable future for the coming generations.

Data Collection Process
A key aspect of the initiative was its systematic data collection. Participants were asked to submit their water bills throughout the academic year, showing a reduction in water consumption from the previous month. This data was carefully recorded and verified by Mrs. Asha K.C. and Mrs. Manju Sreejesh, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Achievements Excluding the summer vacation months of July and August, the pre-primary section successfully reduced its water consumption by an impressive 115,971.53 gallons (439 units) this year, compared to 81,893.34 gallons saved in the previous year.

These figures highlight the substantial impact of the initiative in promoting a more conservation-conscious school community.
