Sustainable Eating- Primary Bento Box Day

Primary Bento Box Day -To encourage good eating habits, students of Grades 1 to 5 had a fun and creative experience with the Japanese Bento Box concept. Each student brought their own bento box containing small portions of fruits, vegetables, meats, and grains.

The emphasis was on balance, color, and presentation, making nutrition a delightful experience. Students were excited to see the variety of food in each bento and admired the colorful arrangements, which sparked discussions about healthy choices and meal balance. They learned about portion control, mindful eating, and the importance of including different food groups in their meals and healthy eating in their daily lives.
