The Eco-Club of Sunrise English Private School successfully conducted its month-long Can Collection drive, engaging students from Cycle 1 to Cycle 3 in an impactful sustainability initiative. This year marked the 29th cycle of the campaign, and with a renewed commitment, we aimed to raise the bar by collecting 100 kg or more of recyclable cans.
The the first edition can collection drive ran from Tuesday, 21st January 2025, to Saturday, 22nd February 2025, and old is Gold Recycle from March 28 to April 29with enthusiastic participation from our student volunteers. Alongside the collection efforts, students also conducted an awareness campaign to educate their peers on the importance of recycling and waste management. Through interactive sessions, posters, and presentations, they emphasized the role of responsible disposal in protecting the environment.
