At just a young age, Samarth from Year 5 Safa Community School has already made a remarkable difference in his community — proving that age is no barrier when it comes to caring for the environment.
As part of his community initiative, Samarth launched a recycling promotion project in Motor City, Dubai, reaching out to nearly 100 households. His mission was simple yet powerful: encourage families to embrace sustainability by adopting the RECAPP app, a recycling platform developed by the French environmental company Veolia.
Armed with determination, a tote bag, and a big smile, Samarth personally visited homes, explained the benefits of recycling, and demonstrated how easy it was to use the RECAPP app. His friendly approach and genuine passion helped many residents become first-time recyclers — turning Motor City into a greener, cleaner place!
Samarth’s exceptional efforts did not go unnoticed. In recognition of his impact, the RECAPP team honored him as an Outstanding Young Achiever and Ambassador for sustainability.
Through this project, Samarth not only raised environmental awareness but also inspired both children and adults to take meaningful action. His story reminds us all that small steps can lead to big changes — and that the future of our planet is in good hands with young leaders like him.
