As part of the UAE’s Year of Community, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) introduced Service-Learning Fridays, a mandatory initiative aimed at fostering social responsibility among students. In alignment with this program, our school organized a Recycling Drive from 10th March to 14th March 2025, encouraging students to actively participate in sustainability efforts.
During the week, students brought various recyclable materials, including paper (newspapers, magazines, used notebooks, cardboard), plastic (clean and dry bottles, containers), and electronic waste (old chargers, small gadgets, batteries). This hands-on initiative provided students with valuable insights into waste management and the importance of environmental responsibility.
