Empowering Future Leaders for a Sustainable Community
At Al Watan Charter School, we believe in nurturing our students to be active contributors to their community. Recently, our students took part in the “My City, My Beauty” initiative alongside partners Abu Dhabi Municipality, the Happiness Police, and Tadweer, showcasing their dedication to environmental responsibility.
Our students’ artistic talents shone as they presented creations made from recycled materials, transforming waste into beauty. Meanwhile, Ms. Douaa, our librarian, led the library’s storytelling team in sharing a powerful story about the importance of following traffic laws, reminding us all of the role we play in ensuring community safety.
Our students also took their efforts outdoors, planting greenery in Shakhbout Park near their homes. This hands-on experience allows them to take pride in their efforts, monitor the growth of their plants, and contribute to a sustainable, eco-friendly environment.
