Global Sustainability Awards 2025

Dunes International School is proud to announce that our students, teachers, and the school were honored at the Global Sustainability Awards 2025, held on November 1–2, 2025, at Miranda House College, University of Delhi. This global event brought together educators, students, corporates, startups, and NGOs to recognize outstanding contributions toward environmental and social sustainability. Our students achieved remarkable success in the Senior Category, with Haazim Irfas and Sreelesh Udayakumar receiving the Silver Award for SDG 4: Quality Education, and Yahya Nadeem Khatib, Zaira Batool, Marina Janet, and Afiya Farathullah Khan earning the Bronze Award for SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. Their projects focused on promoting quality education, sustainable urban living, and community well-being. Additionally, our teachers—Ms. Sumiya Shibi, Ms. Nimmy Baby John, Ms. Divya Sujith, and Ms. Shonima Prakash—were recognized for their exemplary mentorship, leadership, and dedication to sustainability education.

In addition to individual recognitions, Dunes International School proudly received a School Award for its outstanding sustainability project aligned with the SDGs, reaffirming our commitment to fostering environmental responsibility and global citizenship. These achievements highlight the school’s dedication to integrating sustainability through holistic education, student empowerment, and innovative practices. The Global Sustainability Awards 2025 stand as a testament to the collective hard work and vision of our school community.
