GEMS UIS ECO CLUB initiated the CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN to tackle the growing waste accumulation in the school’s bus parking lot. Our dedicated Eco Warriors from Grades 5-12 actively participated in collecting various types of litter, including plastic bottles, bags, masks, paper cups, cans, food waste, and larger items such as a plastic trap, bubble wrap, and thermocol pieces. This initiative not only restored cleanliness but also reinforced the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability within our school community. Making use of the Values of hard work, speed, and accuracy, they tackled this complex, multi-step task, restoring cleanliness and promoting sustainability within our school community.
