Arab Agriculture Day @ BIPS – Honoring Heritage and Innovation

The celebration of Arab Agriculture Day at BIPS connected students with the rich agricultural heritage of the Arab world. They explored traditional and modern farming techniques through poster making and discussions about sustainable irrigation systems used in the UAE.

Students learned how agriculture sustains communities and contributes to food security in arid regions. The activity connected strongly with SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 13: Climate Action, and SDG 15: Life on Land, while celebrating the UAE’s pioneering work in desert agriculture and hydroponic farming.

Through this activity, students appreciated the balance between tradition and innovation in ensuring a sustainable future for all.
