Project Goal:
To reduce the school’s environmental footprint by implementing effective waste management practices and encouraging student participation in recycling initiatives.
One root-One communi- tree project organized by EEG Dubai undertaken by the students of Science and Eco Club of Al Saad Indian School, Al Ain, UAE, aimed at collecting plastic, e-waste, and paper waste within the school campus. The project was designed to promote environmental awareness among students and reduce the school’s overall waste footprint.
Project Objectives:
- Raise awareness: Educate students and staff about the importance of waste reduction, recycling, and proper waste disposal.
- Reduce waste: Minimize the amount of waste generated by the school through various strategies, such as reducing consumption, reusing materials, and composting.
- Implement recycling: Establish efficient recycling systems for various waste streams, including paper, plastic, aluminum, and e-waste.
