The leaves harvested from our aeroponic garden are now a regular feature in the meals served to our students. From crisp lettuce and vibrant spinach to aromatic herbs like basil and parsley, these greens are harvested weekly and delivered directly to the school’s kitchen, ensuring that the meals served are as fresh and nutritious as possible.
In a recent harvest, we gathered 1 kilogram of fresh rocket leaves, a peppery green known for its vibrant flavor and nutritional benefits. As part of our commitment to the highest standards of food safety, these rocket leaves were sent to a certified laboratory for testing to ensure their safety for consumption. We are excited to announce that once testing is complete, these fresh, home-grown rocket leaves will be served to our students as part of our celebrations during Doha Health Week—a week dedicated to promoting healthy living and nutrition.
