Sustainable Farming - Hydroponics Fest

On 29.10.2025, SISAD Kindergarten 2 students celebrated the Hydroponic Fest, promoting sustainable farming and environmental awareness. Organized by the SRISHTI ECO CLUB, the event encouraged responsible and innovative agricultural practices. The celebration opened with a lively hydroponics-themed song. The Principal and SLT members planted saplings, reinforcing the school’s commitment to environmental care.

The Eco Warriors presented an engaging explanation of hydroponics, helping students understand how plants can grow in water without soil, conserving resources. A special highlight was the parent exhibition, where parents showcased home-grown microgreens and prepared healthy dishes using them. They shared how their children were motivated to try hydroponic gardening at home, showing the initiative’s impact beyond the classroom.

The fest effectively blended creativity, learning, and community involvement, strengthening home–school connections and inspiring eco-friendly habits among young learners.
