Recycling Competition Highlights Creativity and Sustainability
Al Watan Charter School recently held an exciting Recycling Competition, showcasing the creative talents of our students while emphasizing the importance of sustainability. Each grade level explored unique themes, crafting innovative projects that reflected their understanding of environmental responsibility:
- KG2: Waste
- Grade 1: Planets
- Grade 2: Ocean
- Grade 3: Plants
- Grade 4: Robots
- Grade 5: Wind Turbines
The students’ projects were displayed in a vibrant school exhibition, where their hard work and ingenuity inspired all who attended. After much deliberation, the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) selected the following winners:
🏆 First Place: Grade 1 (Planets)
🥈 Second Place: Grade 2 (Ocean)
🥉 Third Place: Grade 4 (Robots)
