On the 5th of November 2023, WE Hope conducted its first offline event where the members residing in UAE met together for a wonderful desert cleanup. The event which lasted for 3 hours bore fruitful results. The group headed by Abhiram Krishna along with other 15 members were able to collect loads of trash which was lying in the beautiful Nabagh Desert of Al Ain.
In total, 25-30 bags of trash were collected by the group which weighed around 20 kgs. Once the drive was completed, the group disposed of the trash by sending it for recycling.
This drive which was conducted was extremely successful. Not only did it bring multiple members together, it helped protect the environment by picking up trash which was lying around in the desert.
