A free medical camp for faculty and staff was organized by ‘Verte’ (school eco club) on 5th April, 2017 at the premises of St. Joseph’s School. The camp was organized in association with NMC Healthcare, Abu Dhabi.
A team of 9 members including one Gynecologist, Dr. Rathi Sathiyan from Bright Point Royal Hospital arrived to discuss various issues of health.
Free physical examinations along with free Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, Eye Screening and Varicose Veins screening was provided by the hospital. Comprehensive breast cancer prevention awareness was given by Dr. Rathi.
Camp was successfully organized by the school eco club which aims to raise awareness not only for healthy surroundings but also for healthy mind and body to its teachers and the students.
Camp was coordinated by Mrs. Megha Baskey, Environment Coordinator of the school.
