To ensure that our environmental performance is in compliance with applicable laws and to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve processes, St. Joseph’s School has flagged off Annual Green Audit during the morning assembly on 1st November, 2016.
During the ceremony, our School Eco club (Verte) coordinator Tr. Megha Baskey introduced all the five audit teams to the school. She explained that green audit is an effective way to figure out how large or small our school’s carbon footprint is. It will not only help us in becoming an efficient sustainable school but also give us clear idea where we might be able to make cost savings.
After the introduction, team leader of each audit team shared their agenda and raised awareness about the different processes to be used in auditing process. At the end, our school Principal Sr. Carmen congratulated and appreciated the efforts of audit teams and appealed all the students and the teachers to support the audit teams in the successful completion of their tasks.
