Global Handwashing Day was celebrated with great zeal and zest by the students and teachers of our school on 16th October, 2016. The event was organized by Verte Club (school eco club) to increase awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap.
A brief introduction about the day and its importance was given during the morning assembly by our Primary head girl Ms. Lisel Claire D’sa.
All students and teachers were urged to develop a regular habit of handwashing with soap to counteract illnesses and diseases. As a memento of this pledge, they were requested to sign on the pledge paper. Our campus security staff and bus transport staff also participated in this campaign.
