Roots & Shoots and the Environmental Agency of Abu Dhabi are introducing an exciting new program in Abu Dhabi UAE. Working with Ecoventure Outdoor Educational Services and Eco-Donut Boats students will explore the Eastern mangroves with trained professionals on solar-powered, electric engine boats. Students will have the opportunity to work with Ecoventure staff looking at the mangrove ecosystem through a hands on approach. Students will learn about many areas of the mangroves including mangrove adaptations, identification of mangrove species, food chains and food webs, and constructing a field sketch.
