Dear Members,

I am extremely excited to welcome you to our very first on-line edition of our Roots & Shoots Newsletter. We very much hope you enjoy reading it and we would welcome any feedback you might have.

As we herald the start of Spring, my favourite season I might add, we are thrilled to bring you the latest updates and highlights from our dedicated members.

As always, we have hit the ground running. The most exciting piece of news this year is that we have opened our first ever office in Expo City Dubai, in the impressive TERRA Sustainability Pavilion. This marked a very special milestone on our journey, following a decade of working in the region.

A huge thank you to Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy and Marjan Faraidooni and her team for making this dream possible. We look forward to an exciting new chapter of growth for Roots & Shoots but, even more significantly, ensuring the profound legacy of our Founder, Dr Jane Goodall.

In addition, the last few months have been filled with ground-breaking collaborations, and inspirational school visits, all of which highlight the commitment of our members to create positive change in the UAE and beyond.

Dr. Jane Goodall’s annual presence in the UAE this year was a true honour and inspiration for our community. Read on as we take you behind the scenes of her empowering discussions.
