Bhavans Natura in its untiring journey of protecting nature has come up with another project in order for the birds to beat the heat of the summer. The project initiated by grade 7 students was guided by Ms. Usha Kumari, SSI Coordinator and Ms. Anila . It was an enriching experience for the team as they had to execute many trials and error rectifications until they found a solution. The bird feeder, kept in the garden, now provide them with grains, water, and shelter from the scorching sun and even allows them to take a fresh dip. A solar panel has been installed to support hydroelectricity in functioning of the fountain in Bird bath.
The project was initiated in Feb 2019 with basic facilities and ideas .The project has two fold objectives:
- To help the Birds.
- To create awareness among the students about the use of renewable source of energy.
The journey of a simple bird feeder to its complex form in few months has been a great achievement for the members of the Bhavan’s Natura. Participants of this project are Aayushi Ramakrishnan 8 B, Anushka Shreyas Lale 7B, Gnanasree Donavalli 7B, Gargi Ramanujan Jeughalem 7B.
