Our ED spent a very busy week in the UAE last January, accompanying Dr Jane on her AD and Dubai tour. It included media interviews and book signings; a lecture at both the Dubai Future Academy and the Emirates Literature Festival; our Annual Roots & Shoots Awards and dinner withH.E Razan Khalifa Al Mubarakand Her Royal Highness at the Royal Palace. It wrapped up with a very special invitation to meet once again, His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed.
The British Embassy also hosted an event in Jane’s honour at the Park Hyatt Hotel. Our ED stayed on to visit our member schools and new potential members including Cranleigh School.
Phew – all in a week’s work!
