The Recycle Bin Project was launched in DPS Dubai for educating and creating awareness among our students of the importance of recycling waste. It has also helped to instill a culture of environmental responsibility in our young learners.
As part of this program, students are sensitized on the importance of recycling and how effectively they can recycle everyday waste. They are encouraged to drop the waste according to the different bins placed in the classroom.
At the end of each day, the ancillary staff deposit the waste in the bulk waste segregation area. Out of the 3 bins, the paper bin is the most used followed by the plastic bin. The can bin is used very occasionally.
