A Healthy Smile is a Beautiful Smile
A talk on healthy dental for students and staff was organized by ‘Verte’ (school eco club) on 22nd October, 2017 in the premises of St. Joseph’s School. The talk show was attended by the students from Grade I to V along with their teachers. The camp was organized in association with Dentacare Centre located at Hamdan Street, Abu Dhabi.
A team of 4 members including Dental Surgeon, Dr. G.K. Nimme arrived to discuss various aspects of dental health.
The team was welcomed by our students with bouquets, jubilee candles as a token of love, respect and appreciation.
Dr. Nimme enlightened our students about the common practices for healthy teeth. She explained that by keeping our teeth, gums and mouth clean and healthy, we can prevent various mouth infections.
The proper way for brushing and flossing teeth was explained and demonstrated to our students. Words like cavity, flossing, plaque, bacteria were explained to the students.
The session was successfully organized by Verte, school eco club which aims to raise awareness not only for healthy surroundings but also healthy mind and body to its teachers and the students.
