In an inspiring initiative, Arham Zia, a student from Abu Dhabi Homeschooling Association (ADHSA), and Emaan Danish Khan, founder of EarthWarriorz.org, successfully conducted the first-ever Plant-for-the-Planet workshop in UAE in collaboration with Germany’s Plant-for-the-Planet Academy. This milestone event was held to foster climate awareness and action among young minds, training a record number of 800 students in environmental stewardship during ADIHEX in 2 phases.
The workshop covered vital topics such as climate justice, afforestation, and youth leadership in combating climate change. Through interactive sessions, the students learned practical ways to tackle environmental challenges and were encouraged to become Climate Justice Ambassadors.
This achievement highlights the passion and dedication of these young climate leaders, as they continue to inspire peers globally to take action for a sustainable future.
