This week is Qatar Sustainability Week and we have several celebrations in our campus, starting from Nov 5 to Nov 8. Today, was Meatless Monday where we all pledged to eat plant based meals for the whole day to save our planet from global warming. Did you know that 15% of the greenhouse gases are produced by meat industry?
We involved our cafeteria in this campaign by serving only vegetarian food on all Mondays in November. Our students brought lunchboxes with vegetarian food to show their support.
