COMMUNITY OUTREACH (BRS ECO CLUB)

  • To supply Newspaper Bags made by BRS Students for distribution of food packets in the Labour Camp.
  • To avoid the use of plastic bags and synthetic glue.
  • Emphasizing on the importance on eating healthy and hygienic food
SERVICE in co-ordination with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Group

The students of grade 7 and 8 boys and girls made paper bags using newspaper. The adhesive used to make these bags was a solution of plain flour and warm water.

These bags were then taken to the service organisation where home cooked food was packed in them and transported to the Musaffah labour camps  for the labourers.

A group of ladies were invited to demonstrate the exact procedure of making these bags as each bag had to withhold approximately 900gms of food.
