1B spent this afternoon amending the soil in the planter box where their tomato seedlings will continue to grow.
After removing weeds, they moved the irrigation tubes to the side and added bokashi, chicken manure and additional soil to the bed. They mixed these in well and then resecured the irrigation system.
After the soil sits for some time, it will be ready to welcome it’s new inhabitants – tomatoes, basil and marigolds.
