Mr. Hall’s Grade 6 and 7 Million Solar Stars students had solar light building lesson today! They were joined by a special guest, Ms. Francesca Shirley, School Program Manager of Namene Solar who helped lead the workshop virtually. This activity is part of a Build 1 Give 1 service learning project where students in South Africa will also receive solar reading lights. Dunecrest students also plan to bring Build 1 Give 1 solar reading lights on their upcoming XL trip to Kenya. Well done everyone!
