At QAS, we introduced an aeroponic vertical garden to engage the students during summer. Here, we grew leafy vegetables and harvested them. We found that rocket and mustard grew well in the aeroponic garden. We sold these in our communities to encourage healthy eating. Our students also compared the growth of plants in aeroponic conditions versus normal conditions. The aeroponic towers uses very less water to grow vegetables since the water is recycled from a tank beneath the structure.
