In partnership with Emirates Environmental Group, our school, Private International English School, Abu Dhabi initiated the Recycle, Reforest, Repeat program from 16th – 20th June.
As a part of this program, students were asked to bring waste paper materials like old newspapers, cardboard, cartons etc. Students from grades 1 to grade 12 participated with fervour. To ensure maximum participation, it was declared as a class wise competition and also, classes from each grade with most contribution were acknowledged.
Bhavan’s Natura is honoured to have been awarded by the Emirates Environment Group for recycling 4770 KG of paper in the Project “Recycle. Reforest. Repeat” 2019 on the 19th of September at the Grand Millennium Hotel Dubai. we have been Granted 5 trees to plant at the EEG’s Annual Tree Planting Ceremony on the 19th of December 2019. The collective effort of the SSI coordinator, Ms. Usha Kumari and Waste Audit in charge Ms. Pushpa and Ms. Ajitha, section supervisors, class teachers, parents and students has made this program a great success.
