Tree Plantation Drive in Collaboration with Municipality
On Friday 26th January 2024, 48 enthusiastic students and teachers from Mayoor Private School partnered with the Al Wathba Municipality to transform a part of the park into a greener haven.
This collaborative tree planting initiative aimed to revitalize the park’s ecosystem, foster environmental awareness among young minds, and strengthen the community bond. The day kicked off with an energizing welcome speech by a representative from the Municipality highlighting the significance of trees and the initiative’s impact. Armed with gloves, shovels, and saplings, the students enthusiastically transformed into “green warriors, carefully placed the saplings, and filled the earth with nurturing soil. The municipal team provided valuable guidance and support throughout the process, ensuring the proper planting of each sapling.
