Tara Golshan, the Executive Director of Education at the Jane Goodall Institute in the UK, paid us a visit on campus. Her appreciation of our involvement with Roots & Shoots was evident in the display of our students’ innovative ideas and contributions to sustainability. A variety of ideas have been shared by students, including microgreens, sustainable diet plans, textile design, multi-use bags, single-use plastic policy, and Easels of Earth. The indoor garden filled with medicinal, ornamental, and fruit and vegetable plants fascinated Ms. Tara. She was very happy by our students’ performances of Eco-fashion, Street Play, and audiovisual entertainment.
Ms Tara loved visiting GEMS UIS and was impressed by all your activities and the positive difference you are making! 🙂
Very happy to meet Ms. Tara in our campus and very proud
to receive her positive message for our children. We love to take part in more activities in future.
