Here at Dunecrest American School grade 1 students have been busy learning about where food comes from in their “Farm to table” unit in social studies. They learnt how plant towers work from Dr Kathy, the middle school science teacher, what plants need to grow and how the towers provide it. Grade 1 students followed this information session up with a fun pizza making activity where they went from “farm to table to pizza” in 1 day.
