The ECO Team of Bright Riders School came up with e-waste disposal program. An initiative aimed at reducing the ill-effects of e-waste on the environment.

The program started on the 29th of May and continued for a weeks.

Utilizing the school radio for announcements and support from members of our environment club, we were able to spread the information regarding the program throughout the school.

Students from all grades participated with enthusiasm in collected as much e-waste from their homes and bringing it to school.

By the end of a weeks, the environment club (Srishti) was able to collect a good amount of e-waste which was then segregated and collected by a Dubai based organization, Enviroserve.

As said by Vincent Van Gogh-

“Great things are not done by impulse but by a series of small things brought together.”

This initiative was the first successful step of the Bright Riders’ environment club for the year 2016-17.
