Nurturing global citizens is central to ACS’ service learning mission, ensuring that our students build a sense of empathy and care for issues affecting individuals within and outside our community.
The blanket drive organized by ‘Helping Hands’, a high school student-led service club, was a testament to our students’ drive to create positive change for families and children within our local community. Collecting close to 100 blankets to be donated to marginalized children across the capital, this project aimed to support families unable to afford blankets or bedding in the UAE’s cooler months.
