The annual KidZone event at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi provides a warm welcome to new families transitioning to a foreign country, a new home, and a new school environment. It can be overwhelming for young children to adjust to such changes. To ease this transition, we host an annual welcome event for new families, where both adults and children are invited. During this event, our High School students organize a lively Kid Zone activity. New students from KG1 to Grade 12 are paired with High School Buddies to engage in games, art activities, socialize, and enjoy food at various stations set up by our students.
This event is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere and help new students feel embraced by the school community.
