HARVESTING FESTIVAL – ORGANIC FARMING

Introduction: At Al Saad Indian School, we are proud to promote sustainable practices through our very own organic farming initiative, managed by the dedicated members of our Eco Club. This project is part of our commitment to environmental awareness and hands-on learning, allowing students to understand the importance of organic farming, healthy eating, and sustainability.

Harvest Day: On Friday, 8th November, our Eco Club team gathered to celebrate the season’s harvest. After weeks of careful nurturing, we successfully harvested a variety of fresh, organic vegetables, marking a significant milestone in our school’s environmental efforts.

Vegetables Harvested: The harvest included a variety of vegetables such as:

  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes
  • Carrots
  • Lettuce
  • Cucumbers These vegetables were grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, ensuring they are both nutritious and safe.

Activities by the Eco Club: Throughout the farming process, the Eco Club managed several tasks, including:
