Sharing the best sustainability practice with the American community school – Abu Dhabi
Sharing best practices among schools help a nation to build a better resourceful group of citizens. We, at Bhavan’s Abu Dhabi, believe that by sharing our best practices, we also share our best selves and spread our enthusiasm.
A group of selected students, accompanied by the coordinator Ms. Usha Kumari, represented Bhavans Natura at the American Community School for Best Practice Exchange programme on November 5th 2018. This was the second visit to the ACS.
The members of Bhavans Natura displayed the videos prepared on used paper collection drive that took place at school, in partnership with Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) titled One Root One Communi – tree program (OROC). With the different phases of the drive, information on their experiences, the formalities, the community outreach, feedback and the outcome were also shared with the Green Team of ACS. The mentoring session with the ACS green team members was quite encouraging and they were motivated to do the same. Both the team members parted with the contentment that we could share with each other major recycling programmes to save our mother Earth in different ways and held their heads high for doing a wee bit in sustainability missions.
