Abu Dhabi Miracle
Isn’t the weather in Abu Dhabi great?
With the sunshine getting right on your face?
With the heat that makes your car a microwave,
With the birds that starve for a drop of rain,
But isn’t it all worth it?
For the winter that comes running by,
And the cool breeze that soothes you like a lullaby,
And the fog that makes our window a perfect canvas,
A beautiful place to express our ideas.
The miracle rain soon walks in shyly,
Little drizzle of rain that calms us entirely,
Summer and winter here is like yin and yang,
Completely different,
But fitting together just perfectly fine.

Spring Day
Once I decided to take a walk,
beside the gurgling brook.
Where the water was crystal clear
and the birds had much to talk.
I saw a child,
his face bright with joy.
For the green grass embraced his feet,
and the gentle wind touched his cheeks.
The child ran
racing rabbits and chasing butterflies.
Never did I feel
so full of joy and so alive.
When the sun set
the child said goodbye
to that lovely spring day.
And so did I.

Au natural
What a peaceful thought it is,
That the sun will come up again tomorrow,
And that the birds will always wake up to kiss the sky.
Oh, how we wish to drink in this ephemeral moonlight
And bathe among these flowers.
How we wish to wear the earth on our backs, And sleep under the stars.
How we wish for rain to come again And wash all of our scars;
We wish to be like the trees,
To stand tall and give selflessly.
We want to believe.
We want the stars to be,
Just the stars without the concealing lights of our cities.
And when autumn comes,
With its barren branches,
The crunch of boots against the leaves.
How we wish to smell the candles we make to mimic these.
These nuances and beauties.
And in the middle of September,
When the sun shines bright, indeed.
How we wish for sunlight to heal us.
How we wish for it to teach us how to breathe.
When winter comes we huddle
Near the fire to be warm,
We stay until we’ve forgotten,
What it means to be in a storm.
And spring,
The joy,
Isn’t far behind
With its flowers aplenty;
The children with laughter hidden under their tongues,
And songs in their hearts.
They hold roses because they believe they can change the beast,
And when nature pauses to think
You can almost hear her sigh,
As she whispers tales of days gone by,
When all of us were kin and kind,
Oh, she likes to bathe in this celestial light,
For she too wants the rain to come,
and wash away all we have done.

Impalpable Nature
The breeze was cool and crisp,
vagrant dusk was approaching
skies were losing the shine
or was it the mood?
Leaves were falling gently,
nonchalantly and there was the earth beneath
carpeted with the majestical dead ones
besmirched yet colourful.
The waves were making themselves heard
apprehended their luxury just wasn’t the texture
just wasn’t their colour
but the variated opulent.
The sky started giving up on shades,
devoted it all looked like time’s play
seven minutes for dusk
seventy years to escape the labyrinth.
I didn’t know
didn’t bother
the beauty had taken me in too deep
too deep to think
to feel
to feel of what was left.

Nature Poem
The chirping birds make sound so sweet,
The clear blue sky oh! So high,
The sea is so deep and intense,
The beautiful gardens and their fence,
The mountains so big and huge,
The forests are giving out some clues,
The intensity of the wind and air,
Tells us, look around, something is there,
Yes, I am Nature! And love me to the core,
Yes, I am Nature.

Beauty of the past
Nature is a gift,
not to be greedy upon.
The gloomy rabbits,
and the blooming flowers.
The day gazing moon,
and the bright night stars.
Of all the countless things,
the nature’s blessings.
If we think how the World,
has changed with time,
from love to intolerance.
Once a World filled with
animals, furry and fast,
is now no more,
the World of past.

NATURE
I WONDER NATURE IS SO BEAUTIFUL ,
ITS SEASONS ARE WARM AND COOL,
ITS FULL OF TREES AND PLANTS ,
AND MOUNTAINS WHICH ARE TALL, STEEP AND SLANTS.
SEAS, DELTAS AND OCEANS EVERYWHERE,
GREAT SIGHT OF MELTING ICE IS RARE,
FUN WITH COLOURFUL PATTERNED FISHES WHEN BOAT
SAILS,
SOMEWHERE JUMPING SEALS, PENGUINS AND WHALES.
FRESHNING CHEERFUL SMILE WITH SUNRISE FEEL,
WHILE FASCINATING SUNSET BEHIND THE HILL,
DURING DAY AND NIGHT THE CHANGING SKY,
UP ABOVE THE SHINIG MOON AND STARS SO HIGH
TAKE A PLEDGE TO KEEP OUR NATURE CLEAN,
TO MAINTAIN TREES, MOUNTAINS, SEA ANS SKY SERENE,
TREE A DAY IS MY MISSION,
TO SEE THE FUTURE BRIGHT GENERATION.
