ZERO HUNGER @ DUNECREST AMERICAN SCHOOL

DID YOU KNOW….

●  Food security is one of the most complicated and unsolved problems of sustainable development in todays world.

●  Food production needs to increase by 60% by 2050 to satisfy our needs.

●  As of 2015, 2 billion people lack the essential nutrients to lead healthy lives and 800 million people are under nourished.

●  Food security will only increase as population increases.

How will the world feed itself?

At Dunecrest American School, these are the questions grade 10 students in Integrated Humanities have researched, discussed and explored. They have produced infographics that explore the issues of food security and held a seminar of scholarly discussion where they discussed, debated, explored and conversed on these topics.
