KG -The Kindergarten Department celebrated World Environment Day today with the inspiring theme “#Climate Action.”As part of the celebration, children created models of the Earth and illustrated different ways to protect and preserve the environment, such as reducing pollution, conserving energy, saving water, and planting more trees and plants. They were also introduced to this year’s theme, "Climate Action, and learned how simple everyday choices can make a positive impact on the environment. These engaging activities helped nurture environmental awareness among the young learners, encouraging them to adopt responsible habits and become active contributors to a healthier and more sustainable future. The program highlighted the value of
individual efforts in protecting natural resources, reducing waste, and supporting global
environmental conservation initiatives.As part of the school’s observance of World Environment Day on 5th June, students of Grades 6 to 9 were encouraged to establish Sustainability Corners within their classrooms. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainable
practices by creating greener and more eco-friendly learning spaces. Students were guided to include indoor plants, environmental awareness posters, Switch Off” reminder cards, and sustainability-themed displays created using natural or recycled materials.The activity fostered a sense of environmental responsibility while encouraging students to become active contributors towards a more sustainable future.
