On May 15, 2025, students in Grades 3 and 4 participated in an informative and engaging World Endangered Species Awareness Walkthrough. Held in the second-floor lobby of the G3 & G4 block, the event aimed to raise awareness among young learners about endangered animals and the importance of biodiversity conservation.
Select students created informative posters and charts, which were displayed in the lobby area. These displays featured facts, illustrations, and messages about various endangered species from around the world, highlighting their habitats, threats to their survival, and steps that can be taken for their conservation.
Throughout the day, students from both grades were taken on a guided walkthrough, allowing them to learn from their peers’ work, ask questions, and reflect on their role in protecting wildlife and the environment.
Aligned Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 4: Quality Education – Encouraging learning through peer interaction and visual presentations
- SDG 13: Climate Action – Building awareness about how environmental changes affect species survival
- SDG 15: Life on Land – Promoting empathy and responsibility toward biodiversity and ecosystems
This peer-led awareness initiative successfully planted the seeds of environmental stewardship in our young learners
