UNIVERSALCHILDREN’S DAY@ PIES
PIES celebrated Universal Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and vigour on 20-11-2016 . On this occasion the Bhavan’s Natura, Eco club had organised an awareness programme in the school auditorium for Grade 6 to 9 students.
Richelle Aman of grade 8,the President of the Bhavan’s NATURA had shown a power point presentation with the objectives to create an awareness about Children’s Right among her colleagues and school Janitors. It had enlightened them about children’s rights and also they were sympathetic towards world children whose rights were being curtailed and suppressed by others.
Members of the NATURA had taken the initiative to make posters on the theme “Stop violence against children”. It kindled a strong sense of security and self esteem among students . After this event they went to all blocks and cohered posters on the bulletin boards so the students remain aware about this very imperative occasion and its significance.
