We at QAS were thrilled for our first harvest from the tower garden this year. The tower garden has ben in use for QAS for four years now. The tower garden uses Aeroponic technology to grow crops. The water from the tank underneath is recycled thus making it a sustainable agricultural practice in Middle Eastern countries.
At QAS, we grow leafy vegetables on tower since our tower is located indoors and cant attract pollinators. This time we planted rocket and had a basketful of harvest on October 21,2024. The harvest was distributed in degradable paper cones with beautiful stickers which said “Thanks for choosing to eat healthy”. We gifted our first rocket bouquet to our principal Ms. Elani McDonald.
