The Eco club of sunrise started with a new project -smart waste management system. The ultimate aim of the project is managing waste for sustainable development. Students conducted an awareness campaign in the school and in the community. They collect food waste from their home and deposit in the bin placed at the school which will be converted into organic fertilizer by using the compost machine called smart cara. The Fertilizer is produced, is
used for school organic farm and the rest will be sold among the parents and the community . By converting food waste into compost we reduce 75% of landfill area.
