ASD recently joined the Eco-Schools program and, with that, our ES Roots & Shoots club was invited to be founding members of the ASD Eco-Schools Advisory Council. Meeting several times throughout the year the council will be the decision making body in the school for Eco-Schools related projects and documentation. Our young members were integral in making the first formal decision of the body: To focus on the themes of energy and waste reduction. How great that this is also what the Roots and Shoots students have been focusing on already!
